Foundational Crochet Skills with Kristyn Ballermann is a beginner-friendly course that dives headfirst into hooks, yarn, and the oddly satisfying rhythm of making loops on purpose. Students will learn how to chain, work single crochet stitches, and finish their pieces while creating one or two simple projects. By the end, participants will speak basic crochet lingo and have the confidence to keep stitching their way into the handmade unknown.
Saturdays, April 11th - May 2nd 2026. 9am - 11am.
All supplies provided.

About the instructor:
Kristyn is a graduate of the Alberta University of the Arts, where she earned a dual degree in Jewellery + Metals and Glassblowing. Her creative energy reaches every corner of her life, often expressed through intricate clay miniatures and playful crochet projects. She brings a thoughtful, hands-on approach to her classes, encouraging exploration and artistry. Most recently, she made a skull beanie—just one example of her unique blend of curiosity, craftsmanship, and style.
