Build a Fish and a Dish - Pottery Workshop

Join local artist Debbie Goldstein in our pottery studio to create a fish and a dish!

6:00pm - 9:00pm March 27th and April 3rd

Night 1 (March 27th): Learn hand building and sculpture techniques while building a fish and a small platter

Night 2 (April 3rd): Use studio glazes and oxides to accentuate the surface and texture

OR participate in a community raku firing (TBD)

Materials: Raku or paper clay will be provided. Experiment with handbuilding free form and with clay slabs.

Timing: Your work will be dried and bisque fired prior to the second session

Night 2: Decide which glazes you wish to use on your work and apply. Your work will be fired to cone 6. OR bring it home as it is and participate in a community raku firing TBD

Raku?? We are aiming to have a community raku firing in the spring. Location TBD. Additional fees will apply.
