50th Year Anniversary

Members of the community of Kimberley!

2027 marks the 50th year of the Kimberley Arts Council at Centre 64. The centre has been an incredibly important community hub for arts and culture in Kimberley since the beginning, and we are very excited to celebrate not only the journey of progression, but also the people who made it happen.

We are looking to acquire archival photographs and newspaper articles for our upcoming exhibition in 2027 celebrating Centre 64’s 50th Year Anniversary. We are looking for archival materials spanning from 1976 to 2026. These materials should be associated with events, activities, user groups, and notable contributors at Centre 64, as well as significant municipal transitions that affected Kimberley’s arts scene.

We are also interested in showcasing original paintings/artworks that reflect Centre 64's history. These can be focused on a specific aspect or the overall journey of the Kimberley Arts Council. Let your inspiration guide you!
